Report of SVEEP (2022-23)

National Voters' Day has been celebrated on January 25 every year, across the country to mark the foundation day of the Election Commission of India, i.e. 25th January 1950. Theme for this year's NVD is 'Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure'.

13th National Voters' Day (NVD) was also be celebrated on 25th January 2023 in our nsszhdce unit under SVEEP. On this day, Our College campus ambassadors (Sidrat Mehraj and Saurabh Bharti) with NSS team had organized an event on voter awareness Documentary screening and play the latest song "MAIN BHARAT HOON" launched by ECI on that day itself. This event is inaugurated by our Principal Prof (Dr.) Masroor Ahmad Beg. All students with professors took voter's Pledge. In the following event on that day, An Intra-College Competitions (Speech competition and Handmade Poster Making Competition) are also organized. The theme of Competition is VOTER AWARENESS. The judges are Dr. Vijay Narayan sir, Dr. Hari sir and supporting teacher Dr. Sarabjeet ma'am.

 

As per individuals’ level, our SVEEP Ambassadors also helped various students and college staffs in making their EPIC and tried to solve related issues throughout the year.

 

On 19th October 2023, SVEEP Ambassadors and with the support of our NSS unit organised proper arrangement of helpdesk in our College Campus for Voter ID registration to register various new voters and changed some basics issue related in voter's registration of old voters. Additionally, they had also organised Inter-College (Quiz & Extempore Speech) competitions in the Science Block Room no - 102.  The judges are Dr. Vijay Narayan sir, Dr. Manoj kumar sir, Dr. Om Prakash Dahiya sir, and supportive teachers Dr. Sarabjeet Kaur ma'am, Dr. Aaliya ma'am & Dr. Arbin Kumar Thakur sir

And all events are completed successfully under the guidance of Programme Officer Prof. (Dr.) Sanjib Kumar Baishya sir and our Principal Prof. (Dr.) Masroor Ahmad Beg sir and for being immensely supportive towards organising various events under the aegis of SVEEP during the academic session 2022-2023.

Thinking beyond imitation

 Theorizing a concept is usually done by philosophers or scholars, which perceived to be a more inclined to an ideal universal. It is quite good but someone theorizing a concept is always an individual with some degree of biasness, forgetting the concept of world. And, Some innocent (less explored) people took it so seriously, and destroy oneself mind. Always Keep oneself free from any ism (not always political, sometime social too). The concept of ism is sweet poison of human cognition. It is good to be a logical rational person but humans was, are and will never live with individually in every phases of life. Remember Humans are social animal and cohesion is in blood what we today forget. Be specific, explore what you believe in someone with all aspects with its criticism, to evaluate someone theory.
